BFBi Northern Section Annual Lunch Brings Industry Together in Leeds

The BFBi Northern Section Annual Lunch took place on 26th February 2026 at Aspire in Leeds, a new venue for 2026! Bringing together more than 200 brewing and beverage industry professionals for an afternoon of networking, inspiration and fundraising.

The event began with a drinks reception, giving guests the opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues, build new relationships and celebrate the strength of the brewing community. Thank you to Joseph Holt, Bank Top Brewery, Moorhouse’s, Timothy Taylor’s, Kirkstall Brewery, Ossett Brewery, Cloudwater, Heineken and Brew York who kindly supplied the beer for the event!

Attendees then enjoyed a keynote speech from Richard McCann, whose engaging and thought-provoking talk set the tone for the afternoon. A highlight of the day was the raffle, which raised more than £1,100 for two fantastic charities: Home-Start Leeds and the Alzheimer’s Society. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and helped support these important causes.

We would also like to extend our thanks to those who generously donated the raffle prizes. Their support helped make the fundraising effort such a success.

The BFBi Northern Section Annual Lunch once again proved to be a valuable occasion for bringing the industry together, strengthening professional networks and supporting worthwhile charitable causes.
