Another Drinktec: Showcasing Innovation, Collaboration & Celebration

BFBi once again supported its membership, before during and after Drinktec.  As the world’s largest exhibition for suppliers into the sector, it is not an event to be taken lightly but, hopefully, those exhibiting will find an ROI sufficient to invest in the next drinktec, taking place 2028.

From flavourings to fonts, and grain to glass, BFBi members showcased an impressive range of products and services. Their presence underlined the breadth of expertise within our community and the vital role they play in shaping the future of the drinks supply chain.

Innovation at Scale

The exhibition floor featured some of the most advanced technologies driving the industry forward. Nowhere was this more evident than in the Krones tent, which was nothing short of spectacular. Highlights included:

Ingeniq – a fully automated, data-driven filling line system for PET containers, designed for non-carbonated water.

Bioreactor for biomass production – supporting the growing demand for sustainable and alternative food sources.

Poseidon fermentation unit – delivering cutting-edge capability in fermentation processes.

The scale of the showcase reflected not only the company’s global reach but also the industry’s accelerating push towards innovation, automation and sustainability.

Beyond the Exhibition Halls

Of course, no BFBi drinktec experience would be complete without a visit to Oktoberfest.  An evening at the iconic Löwenbräu tent ensured the hospitality element of membership continued, even in Germany.
