Ruth met with new member TCE Projects at their first brewery install, Birmingham Brewing Co – a 15 barrel brewery (thank you Paul for a very welcome cup of coffee).

TCE Projects was formed two years ago, providing turnkey, bespoke, brewing, distilling, dairy, soft drinks and waste water equipment; providing process engineering solutions with a specialisation in brewing and dairy.

TCE Projects also undertakes audits (environmental; waste management) to BS standard as well as data logging of machinery in order to reduce energy consumption.

Site surveys and project management for any work undertaken is free of charge for breweries up to 60,000hl

Based in Sandy, Bedfordshire, TCE Projects has its own fabrication shop with 12 fully coded welders.  Equipment is brought in from around the world, checked and inspected pre-delivery.

As well as process plant, waste management and audit/survey support, TCE Projects is about to launch a range of canning lines, from tabletop  200 cans/hour to 5,000 cans per hour.

Steve Adams, Projects Director, has previously worked with a range of blue chip companies within the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and automotive industries and believes in a practical, bespoke approach to his projects.

Dan Rybinski, previously Head Brewer with Halton Turner Brewing Co, has joined TCE Projects to lend his brewing expertise to future projects.

Steve showed Ruth around Birmingham Brewing Co, noting that they were already looking to expand the FV farm.  Their large but efficient heating elements enable the brewery to boil a 15 barrel brew in just under 7 minutes.
