Drinks manufacturer Britvic has increased capacity at its Rugby factory by £5.4m after partnering with LineView Solutions.
Using LineView’s line balancing optimisation (LBO) solutions, the partnership achieved an immediate capacity increase of £2.9m, while revealing a further £2.5m in capacity gains through enhanced control optimisation.
The comprehensive LBO training project took place over a two-week period, during which time LineView was tasked with upskilling the Britvic controls engineering team with the necessary knowledge enabling them to identify and implement LBO opportunities across the business.
Working in collaboration with LineView, Britvic was able to implement practical improvements and enable the lines to fulfil market demand for summer can volume.
