The Scheme has been put in place to ensure that retailers buy beer dispense gas that is fit for purpose, by offering an accreditation scheme that guarantees gas quality from their supplier.

Annually, each filler is independently inspected against best practice guidelines and, if successful, can use a logo on all their merchandising.

All members of the BCGA can automatically use the logo.  Members of BFBi can apply and free inspections are included in their membership fee.

The Scheme :-

• Creates a register of ‘approved’ gas suppliers and fillers
• Eliminates disreputable suppliers and potential dangerous practices
• Demonstrates integrity of supplier/fillers practices
• Heightens standards of Beverage Gas suppliers within the industry
• Ensures quality of product
