B&B Attachments, the UK’s leading supplier of forklift truck attachments is exhibiting new material handling solutions at IMHX 2019. The exhibition, which is a must for all material handling professionals, takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from 24 – 27 September. It houses over 400 exhibitors and 20,000 supply chain professionals, that gather to evaluate cutting edge technologies, explore the latest industry solutions, and discuss how to increase efficiency within supply chain operations.

This year the B&B stand is bigger than ever before, and will showcase even more innovative solutions to improve material handling operations and safety. B&B will exhibit its own manufactured attachments alongside KAUP attachments. KAUP and B&B have worked together in attachment development since 1980. Together their shared knowledge and expertise continue to advance the material handling industry.

B&B Attachments is set to display a number of innovations on its stand 19H120. This includes the K320 and J250R overhead block clamp attachments. These attachments are part of the popular BlockMaster range and have been designed to assist with the complex task of moving bricks and blocks. The attachments have been designed to improve safety and productivity within the construction industry.

PowerMount, is a must see at IMHX for companies that frequently use more than one attachment. It has been designed and manufactured by B&B Attachments to enable truck operators to quickly change from one hydraulic attachment to another, in just 90 seconds. The PowerMount system allows for attachment change to be completed without the need for an engineer, guaranteeing a fast, easy and safe way to interchange forklift attachments.

B&B will also display LayerMaster, which is an attachment that provides a solution for both layer picking and layer splitting loads. It allows a pallet to be quickly broken down or built up by clamping its layers. It can be adjusted for a wide range of products including boxed and frozen goods, glass and plastics containers, tinned products and plastic trays.

Electrically operated and electronically controlled, the new KAUP electric fork positioner T160BE completely removes the requirement for hydraulic operation. A PLC with CAN-Bus-interface opens new communication possibilities between the attachment and fork truck. The sideshift and positioning of the fork tines can be defined and controlled with absolute precision from inside the forklift truck. Test the operation controls for this attachment at IMHX, by using a specially created control unit which provides a first-hand experience of how the forks electrically operate.

The push pull attachment is fast becoming an industry favourite. It provides optimum performance and maximum productivity when handling materials on slip sheets. The fork mounted push pull was developed to help unload containerised products that are not on pallets. The fork mounted version is easily connected to a conventional forklift truck for efficient, pallet-less handling. It can then be swiftly disconnected to allow the forklift to return to handling pallets.

KAUP’s Double Pallet Handler T429C range needs little introduction. With its improved visibility through the attachment, drastically reduced lost load centre and increased residual capacity, this range has fast become the double pallet handler of choice with industry professionals.

Additionally, there will be a variety of other handling solutions, including KAUP’s integrated fork positioner, keg clamp attachment and Motec Camera systems displayed on B&B’s stand 19H120.

The B&B team of specialist staff will be on the stand, offering years of industry knowledge and advice to help solve any material handling task.
