BRC Issue 8: Environmental monitoring

The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety issue 8 was released last month and the first audits against issue 8 will start in February 2019. A risk based environmental monitoring programme should be in place for all production areas covering pathogens and spoilage microorganisms.
