Omega Ingredients Trainee Flavourist Selected as winner of the 2021 IFEAT Award !

Marcella Di Mauro, Trainee Flavourist, at Award-winning flavour company Omega Ingredients,  recently attended the three- week Flavourist Training Course developed by The British Society of Flavourists and University of Reading. This unique course is supported by the International Federation of Essential Oil and Aroma Trades (IFEAT). The programme included lectures, practical sessions, and seminars from highly experienced flavourists and University specialists.

Marcella excelled during course achieving top scores on all her flavour presentations, particularly a savoury flavour that really impressed the tutors of the course. Omega Ingredients are delighted that Marcella has been selected to win the IFEAT Award for this year, which is a brilliant success. The celebration will really be marked next year as Marcella has been invited to the IFEAT International Conference in Vancouver to receive her award in person which will be a really special occasion.
