Food safety – advanced (level 4)

Food safety, hygiene and the prevention of contamination are key considerations for the manufacture, production and service of food. Those responsible for managing food operations need to demonstrate their knowledge and competency in areas such as food hygiene, preventing foodborne illness, factory and equipment design, cleaning and training strategies.
